Oralia Cisneros, 81, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at her residence in Brownsville, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Cisneros affectionately known as Shorty/Lala was a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville. Her professional career encompassed working as a real estate agent for All Star Realty and as an Escrow Officer for several title companies.
She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.
Mrs. Cisneros was preceded in death by her husband , Santiago A. Cisneros on July 07, 2017; a daughter Gabriela Maria Cisneros Rankin; her parents, Pablo Flores and Guadalupe Alvarez Flores; her brothers, Rodolfo, Rafael, Francisco, Pablo, Alonzo, Jose and Juan.
Mrs. Cisneros is survived by her son, Santiago Cisneros Jr.; a daughter, Cynthia Cristina Cisneros; and her grandson, Charles Anthony Rankin. She will also be missed by her brother, Ruben Flores; her sister, Maria Elena and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Communion Celebration is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 555 West St. Francis St. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Oralia's nephews: Mauro Cisneros Jr., Joseph Estrada, Raul Arellano, Paul Garza, George Garza, and Rodolfo Garza Jr. are honored to be serving as his pallbearers.
Santiago Cisneros Jr., Charles Rankin, Eduardo Cisneros, Jose Flores, Jr., Alberto Cisneros and John Anthony Estrada will serve as honorary pallbearers.
