Ovet Noe Fernandez

alignleftOn July 4 in Brownsville Texas, our beloved brother, loyal son and devoted friend known by his 22 nieces and nephews as Uncle Noe passed away unexpectedly and has left a legacy of memories he personally photographed throughout his 46 years we were blessed to have shared with him. Although often soft spoken, his artistic commemoration of every family event through his camera lens is a declaration of his reverence for his family and his devotion to making every family victory an event to remember.

Professionally, Noe excelled as a Commercial Credit Officer with Chase Bank which his coworkers attribute to his benevolent character and dedication to providing the highest level of customer service for over18 years.

Although his life was cut short, his enjoyment just like his Mothers was shopping with his sisters, hanging out with his family and friends and making sure that everyone was having a good time. While Noe was our family historian by capturing all of our family events on film, Noe, himself, shied away from the camera. Photography was his trademark and hobby so we are blessed to have his gift to remember him by. We will always remember him fondly wearing his cowboy or baseball cap. Noes smile and laughter will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Noe is preceded in death by his father, Jose Pepe Fernandez and mother Andrea Pine Fernandez. He is survived by siblings Norma Carlos Chavez, Ruben Brenda Fernandez, Becky Eduardo Gamez, James Mariana Fernandez, Joe Thelma Fernandez, Richard Connie Fernandez, Henry Fina Fernandez, Lydia Felipe Cruz and Nora Garza as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon today, Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in the East chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm this evening with Pastor Steve Dorman of the First Baptist Church of Brownsville officiating. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Darling-Mouser. Interment will follow to Buena Vista Burial Park.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Fernandez, Michael Fernandez, Stephen Glenn Fernandez, Jason Fernandez, Eduardo Gamez Jr. and Eric Ernest Gamez. Honorary pall bearers will be Simon Olvera and Javier Carinhas.
