Patricia "Pat" G Ibarra

Patricia G. Ibarra, 62, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life after a valiant battle against cancer on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Pat, as she was affectionately known to all, was born in Mexico. She became a naturalized citizen numerous years ago. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who gave her all for her family. Pat was very proud of the fact that she returned to college in her later years and was able to obtain her Bachelors Degree in Education. Pat was a dedicated teacher for 13 years with the BISD until her illness forced her into early retirement. Pat was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by those fortunate to have known her.

Pat was preceded in death by her father, Alfredo Gonzalez.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her is her husband of 38 years, Isaias Ibarra her children:Melissa Roman Godinez, Joanne Tristan Banda, and Isaac fiance Trisha Ibarra the grandchildren that were the apple of her eye: Mateo and Diego Godinez, Isabella and Noah Banda, and Eli Henson her mother, Isabel Gonzalez, her siblings: Lupita Richard Gonzalez Adams, Gloria Gonzalez, Alfredo Gonzalez Jr., Sylvia David Guerra, and Carmen Hugo Sifuentes and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. and continue through 9:00 p.m., today, Thursday, December 27, 2012, with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. this evening in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass is tentatively scheduled for Friday, December 28, 2012 at St. Josephs Catholic Chruch, 555 West St. Francis Street with the time pending. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Isaac Ibarra, Tristan Banda, David Guerra Jr., Joseph Guerra, Ivan Ramirez, and Hugo Sifuentes are honored to be serving as Pats pallbearers.
