Patrick M. Biedinger, 69, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend entered into the glory of his eternal life on Tuesday, November 05, 2013, at Grand Terrace Nursing Home in McAllen, Texas, surrounded by his loving family.
Pat, a native of Toledo, Ohio, had been a resident of Brownsville for the past 49 years. He was a proud veteran having served our country in the U.S. Coast Guard. Pat worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier for twentyfive years. Pat and his wife Mae were both volunteers with the Valley Baptist Medical Center Auxiliary.
Pat was a longtime parishioner at St. Josephs Catholic Church. Pat was a loving husband and a devoted father and grandfather. Pat was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate to have known him.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Charlotte and Louis R. Anthony and a grandson, Gabriel Genaro Lopez.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him is his loving wife of 49 years, Alma Mae Briseno Biedinger the daughters that were his pride and joy, Patricia Michelle Steve Inzana and Soundra Mae Jose Lopez the grandchildren that were the apple of his eye: James Jolie Ammons III, Nicholas Patrick Torres, Ruben Joseph Lopez, Michael Anthony Inzana, Skylar Nicole Inzana, and Morgan Nicole Lopez one sister, Pat Mudgett and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7th in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 4:00 p.m. and continue until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 08, 2013, with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening. The Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 09, 2013, at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 555 West St. Francis St. All services will conclude at the church and in accordance with Mr. Biedingers wishes cremation will follow.
Pats sonsinlaw, Joe Lopez and Steve Inzana along with his four grandsons: Jimmy, Nicholas, Ruben, and Michael are honored to be serving as Pats pallbearers.
