Pearl Feurtado Kirkconnell, 82, died peacefully in her sleep on April 5, 2018 in Irving, Texas.
She was born in Utila, Honduras, Central America but resided most of her life in Brownsville, Texas.
Pearl was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years Baxter Holman Kirkconnell, parents Mary Elizabeth Feurtado and Henry Durham Feurtado, and sister Desiree Feurtado.
Pearl is survived by daughter, Mary Kirkconnell Hannah of Grand Prairie, Texas, son, John Oliver (Selma) Kirkconnell of Brownsville, Texas, and daughter Karen (George) Kirkconnell Quinif (George) of Phoenix, Arizona. She was blessed with eight wonderful grandchildren: Chase (Britney) Hannah of Dallas, Texas; Cristin Hannah (Ryan) Renfro of Arlington, Texas; Sam (Kristin) Quinif of Orange County, California; Gus Quinif of New York, New York; Kate Quinif of Ft Worth, Texas; Jon Robert Kirkconnell, Isabel Kirkconnell, and Tristan Kirkconnell of Brownsville, Texas; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Fred and Samuel Feurtado, and sister, Rhonda Feurtado.
Pearl was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed family and friends gathering around her kitchen table, enjoying good food and her "famous" sweet tea. Loving and loyal to a fault, she will be greatly missed but has left behind many cherished memories.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14th at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home, 945 Palm Blvd., Brownsville, Texas 78520, 956-546-7111.
