Ralph Lewis Frapart passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 in Brownsville, Texas. He was born in Houston, Texas, to Herbert Elias Leon Frapart and Francis Kaiser Frapart. He graduated high school from Tyler High in Tyler, Texas and moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas where he met and married his one true love Sarah May Dorfman of Brownsville, Texas. Ralph moved his family to Pine Bluff, Arkansas and shortly moved to Brownsville, Texas to open Ralphs of Palm Village, a fine womens clothing store. Ralph owned and operated the store for over 40 years.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Francis Frapart and his wife Sarah Frapart. He is survived by his brother, Lewis of Houston, Texas, his children, Jules Phyllis of Brownsville, Ross Myra of San Antonio and David of Bacliff, Texas his seven grandchildren Samuel Frapart of Houston, Joel Frapart of Dallas, Dr. Lloyd Diaz of New York, Rachel Moore, Sara Diaz Botello James all of San Antonio, Janna Sneider Jonathan of Boston, Massachusetts and Adrienne Cohen Robert of Minneapolis, Minnesota, his 2 greatgranddaughters Shayna and Rebecca Sneider and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at graveside at 10:00 a.m. at the Historic Hebrew Cemetery located on the corner of 2nd and East Madison Street in Brownsville, Texas, Wednesday, August 20, 2014.
