Mr. Raul Ramirez, 53, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend entered into the glory of his eternal life on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at North Cypress Hospital in Cypress, Texas after a valiant battle against cancer with his loving family at his side.

A native of Brownsville, Raul had been a resident of Cypress for numerous years.
He worked overseas as a NATO Clearance Specialist. Raul loved spending time with family and friends. We are truly blessed to have had him in our lives and he will be profoundly missed by all those fortunate to have known him.

Raul was preceded in death by his parents, Raymundo and Carmen Ramirez three brothers two sisters his motherinlaw, Juanita Ramirez and a brotherinlaw, Reynaldo Ramirez Jr.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him is his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Leticia Ramirez the children he was so proud of: Monica Rolando Solorio, Liza Yvonne Ramirez, and Raul Ramirez Jr. the three grandchildren that were the apple of his eye: Enrique Rey Ramirez, Rolando Solorio IV, and Angel Christian Ramirez. Raul will also be missed by his two sisters: Yolanda Hector De Leon, Graciela Davila, his brothers, Jesus Sylvia and Ruben Maria Ramirez, his fatherinlaw, Raynaldo Ramirez his sistersinlaw: Blanca Ricky Garza, Diana and Veronica Ramirez his brotherinlaw, Javier Ramirez and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17th and continue through 9:00 p.m. in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. The recitation of the holy rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at DarlingMouser. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013 at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 555 West Saint Francis Street, Brownsville.

Committal services will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Raul Rocky Ramirez Jr., Roland Solorio III, Jesus Ramirez, Javier Ramirez, Hector De Leon Jr., Jesus, Joe Ray Davila, and Manuel Rivas Jr. are honored to be serving as Rauls pallbearers. Nam Nguyen, Hector DeLeon, Ruben Ramirez, Jaime Villarreal, Romy Arrendondo, Jesse Ramirez and Santino Davila will serve as honorary pallbearers.
