BROWNSVILLE, Texas. – Reyes García Cobarrubias entró en descanso eterno el martes 28 de febrero de 2023 en el Hospital Solara de Brownsville, Texas. Tenía setenta y cuatro años de edad.
Reyes nació en Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, México el 11 de enero de 1949, hijo del fallecido Felipe García y Paulina Cobarrubias García. Era muy activo y tenía una personalidad amistosa. También le gustaba la música y tocar el acordeón.
Precediendo a Reyes en la muerte estuvo su amada y devota esposa durante treinta y nueve años, Delia B. García; y sus padres, Felipe García y Paulina Cobarrubias García.
Los sobrevivientes incluyen a su amada hija, Martina de la luz García; su hermana, María Cristina Medina Cobarrubias; y su hermano, Jesús García Cobarrubias.
El horario de visitas se realizará el jueves 2 de marzo de 2023 entre la una de la tarde y las nueve de la noche, comenzando el rezo del santo rosario a las siete de la noche del jueves dentro del Capilla oeste de la Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.
Un servicio de capilla comenzará a las doce del mediodía del viernes 3 de marzo de 2023. El entierro seguirá inmediatamente en Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville.

BROWNSVILLE, TX. – Reyes Garcia Cobarrubias entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, the 28th of February 2023 at Solara Hospital in Brownsville, Texas. He was seventy-four years of age.
Reyes was born in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico on January 11, 1949, son of the late Felipe Garcia and Paulina Cobarrubias Garcia. He was very active and had a friendly personality. He also enjoyed music and playing the accordion.
Preceding Reyes in death was his loving and devoted wife of thirty-nine years, Delia B. Garcia; and his parents, Felipe Garcia and Paulina Cobarrubias Garcia.
Survivors include his loving daughter, Martina de la luz Garcia; his sister, Maria Cristina Medina Cobarrubias; and his brother, Jesus Garcia Cobarrubias.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, the 2nd of March 2023 between the hours of one o’clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock at night, with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o'clock Thursday evening within the West Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.
A Chapel Service will commence at twelve noon on Friday, the 3rd of March 2023. Interment will immediately follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville.
