Ricardo Olvera "Ricc" Hinojosa

BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Ricardo Olvera "Ricc" Hinojosa entered into eternal rest on Saturday, the 6th of July 2024 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville. He was sixty-three years of age.

Ricc was born in Brownsville, Texas on April 22, 1961, son of Martin Hinojosa Reyes and Irene Olvera Hinojosa. He attended local schools, Russell Elementary, Central Junior High, and Homer Hanna High School and after graduating, went on to attend Texas Southmost College. Ricc worked in sales Valleywide. He was a generous man with a big heart. Ricc loved his wife, his mother, his children, his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and the rest of his family and friends dearly. He was an avid outdoorsman where he found peace in nature doing what made him happy - hunting and fishing. Opening day could not come soon enough when he was always getting ready for it. His joy of hunting and fishing was also passed along to others. Your love and smile will always engraved in our hearts. He will be greatly missed by all of those fortunate enough to have known him. We will miss you Ricc!

Preceding Ricc in death was his father, Martin Hinojosa Reyes.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Isabel Ybarra; his children, Emma Hinojosa and Camron Hinojosa; his mother, Irene O. Hinojosa; his siblings Rebeca Benavidez, Raquel Cuevas, Raul Hinojosa, and Rogelio Hinojosa; his uncles, Francisco Olvera and Cliserio Olvera; his nieces and nephews Victor Cortez, Mario Cuevas, Persiphone Hinojosa, Daisy Cortez, Marco Cuevas, Martyn Cuevas, and Eric Hinojosa; in addition to numerous cousins and extended family members.
