Rita R. Amaya

Rita R. Amaya, 72, beloved wife, mother, motherinlaw, grandmother, aunt, and friend, entered into the glory of her eternal life on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical CenterBrownsville surrounded by her loving family.

Rita was preceded in death by her daughter, Veronica Amaya.

Left to eternally treasure her memory are her husband of 50 years, Roberto Amaya her children: Edwin Dora Amaya Sr., Griselda Amaya, Selene Amaya, and Marsella Robert Reyes her grandchildren: Edwin Amaya Jr., Edward Amaya, Daisy Fuentes, Noehmi Reyes, Eliza Reyes, and Ashley Reyes and her sister, Lydia R. Grimaldo several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 28th at Iglesia Principe de Paz, 109 Military Highway, Brownsville.
