Robert C. Moreno

Robert C. Moreno, 69, our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, greatgrandfather, uncle, and friend entered into the glory of his eternal life on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 1, 1941 in Laredo, Texas, Mr. Moreno resided in Minnesota for most of his life. He also resided in Leming, Texas for 14 years and for the past year he had been a resident of Indian Lake.

He was a faithful and dedicated employee at the University of Minnesota serving as a Supervisor for the Custodial Services Department. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Pedro G. and Nasaria C. Moreno his brother, Francisco Moreno, and a sister, Paula M. Cornelio.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him is his wife of 47 years, Teresita M. Moreno his children: Roberto M. Moreno Jr., Markus M. Corina Moreno, Deloris M. Castillejos, Marisol M. Moreno, Sheila M. Arias, and Nazaria M. Saul Dominguez 17 grandchildren, and 2 greatgrandchildren. He will also be deeply missed by his sister, Estella M. Tupper and his brother, Ricardo Moreno as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. and continue through 9 p.m. in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser on Monday, May 2, 2011with a prayer service scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday evening. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Markus M. Moreno, Saul G. Dominguez, Richard Flores, Alexi M. Hernandez, John Chambers, and Brady Little, are honored to be serving as Mr. Morenos pallbearers.
