Roberto Esquivel

Roberto Esquivel, 66, of Laureles, Texas entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Mr. Esquivel served in the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lupe and Otilia Ruedas Esquivel. He is survived by his loving wife, Sofia Muoz Esquivel, a son, Roberto G. Amber Esquivel, two daughters, Maria O. Armando De Leon and Rita Esquivel, two granddaughters, Gabriela Victoria De Leon and Savannah Marie Esquivel, his siblings, Luz Esquivel of Olmito, Lupita Donald Duell of New York, Teresa Armando Mayorga of Houston, Catarino Francisca Esquivel of Arizona, and Maria Isabel Richman Pouncey of Florida and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will begin Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 4p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to be held at 7p.m., in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 1p.m., Friday, November 6, at St. Cecilias Catholic Church, 606 W. Ocean Blvd., Los Fresnos, TX with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Military honors will be conducted at the gravesite by the VFW Post 2035 under the direction of Post Commander Luis Lucio.
