Roberto Melguizo

Roberto Melguizo, 86, of Brownsville entered into the glory of his eternal life on Saturday, March 24, 2018, in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Roberto was preceded in death by his parents, Elvira and Juan Melguizo; and 3 brothers: Juan Manuel, Enrique, and Raul Melguizo.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him is his loving wife of 53 years: Josefina "Fafi" M. Melguizo; his daughter, Maria José M. Treviño and her husband Cesar; his three grandchildren: Maria José, Cesar, and Juan Pablo Treviño Melguizo; a sister, Maria Rosa M. Galvan and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.

The family will begin receiving friends at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 and continue through 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening in the East Chapel at Darling - Mouser Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 2800 Rockwell Drive.
