Rogelio Duarte

Rogelio Duarte, 69, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather entered into the glory of his eternal life on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Monte Siesta Retirement and Rehabilitation Center in Austin, Texas.

A native of Brownsville, Mr. Duarte moved to Leander, Texas four years ago. Mr. Duarte worked for 28 years at Levi Strauss. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, remodeling his home, spending time with his family, and volunteering at his church. Mr. Duarte was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all those fortunate to have known him.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him are his wife of 44 years, Trinidad B. Duarte his children: Rogelio Duarte Jr., Jessica Ann Duarte, and Rolando Duarte and the two grandsons that were his pride and joy, Royce and Ryan Dante Duarte.

Visitation and a prayer service were held Monday, November 28, 2011 at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. The procession to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens for an 11 a.m. graveside service will depart at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2011. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2035 under the direction of George Garcia will render military honors at the graveside.
