Rosa T. Cantú

Rosa Torres Cant&uacute, 93, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister entered into the glory of her eternal life on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Doña Rosa is preceded in death by her husband, Leonte Cantú a daughter, Rosa Elia Cant&uacute de Hernandez; her parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Doña Rosa is survived by her children: Ruben Cant&uacute and his wife Carolina, Leonte Cant&uacute Jr. and his wife Gloria, Elvia Margarita Cant&uacute Vda. de Herevia and her late husband Gabriel+, and Juan Antonio Cant&uacute and his wife Rosa. Doña Rosa will also be missed by her 29 grandchildren and her numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her two sisters: Eulalia and Maria Torres along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 and continue through 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening in the West Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016, in the West Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Committal services will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Doña Rosa's grandsons are honored to be serving as her pallbearers.
