BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Rosa Alvarez Daniels entered into enteral rest on Saturday, the 15th of June 2024 in the comfort of her Brownsville residence surrounded by her loving family. She was ninety-four years of age.
Rosa was born in Mexico City, Mexico on April 12, 1930, daughter of the late Alfonso Alvarez Vasseur and Maria Baca Guerra. She attended Colegio Franco Espanol and Colegio Williams. Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert L. Daniels, Sr.; her parents, Alfonso Alvarez Vasseur and Maria Baca Guerra; her siblings, Alfonso Alvarez Baca and Graciela Alvarez Wilson; and her grandparents, Jose Antonio Alvarez and Manuela Bassour.
Survivors include her loving children Robert L. Daniels, Jr. (Paty), Rosie Gray (Mike+), Patty Haynes (John), and Betty Daniels-Mills (James); her grandchildren Bobby and Christopher Daniels, Ricky and Alex Garza, Charlie Gray, John Robert and Tillman Hanes, and Jackie Prudhomme; her great-grandchildren, Weston and Evelyn Daniels, and John Edward Haynes; her siblings Estela Skill, Celia Barreiro, Gustavo Alvarez, Manuel Alvarez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
