Rosario Argentina Palomo

Rosario A. Galvan Palomo, 53, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt entered the glory of her eternal life on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas.

Chayina, as she was affectionately known to all, was a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville. She was a devoted to taking care of her family.  Chayina was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Chayina was preceded in death by her parents, Josefina Dias Galvan  and Gustavo Galvan.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her is her husband of 35 years: Jesus Palomo; her children: Lenora Palomo and her husband Fernando Sanchez, Mayra Palomo and her husband Carlos Silva, Jesus Palomo and his wife Jocelyn, Valeria Palomo and her husband William Ramirez, and Gustavo Palomo; 3 grandchildren: Roberta Sanchez, Thiago Palomo, and Valentina Ramirez.

Chayina will also be missed by her two sisters: Fabiola Galvan Diaz and Teresa Cortinas and 2 brothers: Gustavo Galvan and Jose Dagoberto Galvan along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for 7:00 PM Wednesday evening. Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 02, 2021, in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

We ask that all those attending services please wear a mask to ensure everyone’s well being. At this time, we ask that food not be brought in to the funeral home. We thank you in advance for your cooperation with these requests.
