Sara Elizabeth Bentley

Sara Bentley, 20, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2011 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle against cancer.
Sara was born in Denison, TX on May 27, 1990 but lived the majority of her life in Brownsville. She was a graduate of Pace High School and a student at UTB, studying to enter nursing but also dreaming of becoming a pastry chef. She touched the lives of all who met her with her kindness, generosity, and a great love for life, always putting others before herself. She will be missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her and having her in their lives, no matter how short the time.
Sara is survived by her parents, Ron and Marti Bentley her brothers, Michael and his wife Amanda, Matthew, and James her nephew, Connor her fiance, Jennifer Yepez grandmother, Patricia Wallace numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and her many friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m., at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. A Service Celebrating Saras Life will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the East Chapel of DarlingMouser Funeral Home. All services will conclude after the service.
