Sara Escobedo Salinas

Sara Escobedo Salinas, 92, our beloved mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, sister, aunt, and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at her residence in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

Sara was preceded in death by her husband, Eliseo her parents Geronimo Encarnacion Salinas three sisters and four brothers.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of Sara are her children: Linda D. Patrick Kiggins, Amelia Mae Salinas, Eliseo J. Rose Salinas, and David Salinas eleven grandchildren, twentyone greatgrandchildren, three sisters: Rebecca, Irene, and Mary two brothers: Pete Rafael Escobedo and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

You may come to pay your last respects to Mrs. Salinas starting at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. The family will start to receive condolences at 3:00 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at DarlingMouser. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

There will not be a procession to the cemetery from the funeral home. We will meet at the graveside after the chapel service.
