Servando Salinas

Servando Salinas, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, entered into eternal rest surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in Brownsville, Texas. He was 64 years of age.
Servando enjoyed fishing and hunting with a passion
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nestor Salinas and Felipa Lopez and his sister Sonia Salinas.

Mr. Salinas is survived by his wife of 39 years, Maria Guadalupe Zorrila Salinas, and their children, Hector Leonor Salinas, Luis Salinas, Erika Jesse Lucio, grandchildren, Alejandra, Adolfo, and Adan Salinas, as well as his brothers and sister, Sylvia Ignacio Perez, Sergio Lilia Salinas, Saul Maria de los Angeles Salinas, Samuel Laura Salinas, Salvador Hugo Leticia Salinas along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 10 a.m. and continue through 9 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. this evening in the East Chapel at Darling Mouser Funeral Home.
The Mass of Resurrection will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 12 at St. Marys Catholic Church, 1914 Barnard Rd. all services conclude at the church a Cremation will follow.
Serving as pall bearers will be his sons and brothers Hector, Luis, Sergio, Saul, Samuel, and Salvador Hugo Salinas.
