Sevedeo C. Beo Galvan, 79, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.
Mr. Galvan was born and raised in Port Isabel and later moved to Brownsville where he raised his family. Upon retiring from the U.S. Postal Service he returned to Port Isabel where he enjoyed his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio and Antonia Cruz Galvan. He is survived by his loving wife, Viola B. Galvan of Brownsville, his daughters, Sandra Alfonso Vallejo of Brownsville, Diana Leon Little of Austin, and Janette Bradford McKinney of Rancho Viejo, his grandchildren, Juliet Vallejo of Brownsville, Will McKinney of Rancho Viejo, Boone and Huddie Little both of Austin, his brothers, Juan C. Carmen Galvan, Adan C. Angelita Galvan, and Ignacio Tito Ester Galvan of Brownsville, his sister, Eva Paulo Moreno, and numerous other relatives.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 4p.m., with a holy rosary to be recited at 7p.m., in the East Chapel of DarlingMouser Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 2p.m., Thursday, May 6, at St. Marys Catholic Church with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be conducted at the gravesite by the American Legion Post 2035.
Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Alfonso Vallejo, Leon Little, Bradford McKinney, Guadalupe Reyes, Juan Ochoa and Jorge Garcia.
