Socorro L. Ramirez

Maria del Socorro Ramirez of Brownsville, Texas entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical CenterBrownsville.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband Florentino Ramirez, Jr., her mother Emilia Lerma, her father Jose Lerma, Jr and two brothers, Efrain and Juan Lerma, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Ann Dominguez a sister, Esmeralda Leal and brotherinlaw, Ramon G. Leal. Also surviving are two sistersinlaw, Rosario Ramirez and Maria Lerma and three first cousins, Alma Torres, Bertha Guerra and Dagoberto Barrera.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012 with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the East Chapel of DarlingMouser Funeral Home.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 555 W. St. Francis St. with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
