Susana Elsa T. Alegria

Susana Elsa T. Alegria, 75, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister entered into the glory of her eternal life on Friday, July 11, 2008 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Alegria; a son, Nicandro Alegria, her sister, Avelenia Tovar; and two brothers, Filomeno and Roman Tovar.

Left behind to eternally treasure her memory are her children: Cipriano Patricia Alegria, Miguel Isabel Alegria, Andres Verancia Alegria, Margarito Araceli Alegria, Concepcion Alfredo Morales, and Alma Ricardo Negrete; 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, July 12, 2008 from 9a.m.to 9p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7p.m., in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 9 a.m., Sunday, July 13, 2008 and continue through 9 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Resurrection will be on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 1055 Military Highway, Brownsville, Texas. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Cipriano Alegra Jr., Juan Emmanuel Alegra, Miguel ngel Alegra, Pablo Antonio Alegra, Alfredo Morales III, and Ricardo Negrete Jr. Are honored to be serving as Susanas pallbearers. Gerardo Alegria, Jose Luis Alegria, Margarito Alegria, Jr., Nick Andrew Alegria, and Abelardo Morales will serve as honorary pallbearers.
