Tomas Pe�A Sr.

Tomas Pea Sr., 66, our beloved son, husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend who was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico entered into the glory of his eternal life on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Solara Hospital in Edinburg, Texas.

Mr. Pea was a long-time member of the Church of Christ. He was baptized by Bro. Ruben Amador in Houston, TX. Mr. Pea proudly served as a United States Air Force Intelligence Officer during the Vietnam War. He taught for Edinburg CISD for over 30 years and enjoyed competitive running where he medaled in many races in the Senior Divisions.

Tomas was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cynthia Dee Pea and a brother, Saturnino Pea.

Left behind to eternally treasure his memory are his parents, Guadalupe and Francisca Pea; his loving wife: Rosario Alaniz Pea; one daughter, two sons, six grandchildren, a special nephew, three sisters, and two brothers.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., on Monday, July 27, 2009 and continue until 3 p.m. when the funeral service will begin in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Interment services will follow to Buena Vista Burial Park. Famiuly members and friends are honored to be serving as Tomas pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be: Ricardo, Joaquin, and Fernando.

Military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the America Legion Post 43 Funeral Honor Guard under the direction of Commander Raul Leal.
