Trinidad L. Rodriguez

Mrs. Trinidad L. Rodriguez, 91, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Friday, December 14, 2007, surrounded by her loving family.

Trinidad was affectionately known as Moo by those close to her. She enjoyed gardening, watching wrestling and playing Chalupa. She will be dearly missed by all.

Mrs. Rodriguez was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Rebecca Loya; by her husband Carlos Chale Rodriguez; sisters, Jovita Garza and Catalina Cornejo; and by a granddaughter, Marta Laura Perez.

Survivors include her daughter, Ninfa Arnoldo Gomez of Brownsville; sisters, Maria Luisa Cuellar of Brownsville and Rachel Jose Hernandez of El Cajon, California; a brother, Jorge Aurora Loya of Humble, Texas; grandchildren, Cynthia Perez, Gilberto Perez, Alfredo Perez, David Gino Perez, Linda Perez and Jaime Perez, all of Brownsville; a niece, Josefa Tabares of Brownsville; great-grandchildren, Richard Anthony Perez, Ricardo Uribe, Rebecca, Crystal, Gino, Roberto, Carlos and Lisa Marie Perez; great-great-grandchildren, Isabella Perez, Ricardo Uribe, Jr. and Ryan Uribe; and several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2007 with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

The Mass of resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 555 W. St. Francis St.. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Pallbearers will be Gilbert Perez, Alfred Perez, David Perez, Jaime Perez, Richard Perez and George Tabares.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Perez, Gino Perez and Ricardo Uribe.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Francis Gumbel and Staff, Med-Team Home Health Staff, especially her provider Paulita Noriega, Odyssey Hospice, and Father Jerry Frank and the Staff at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
