Veryl Victoria Adams, 85, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 19, 2018, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas with her loving husband at her side.
Tudy, as she was affectionately known, had been a resident of Brownsville for the past 38 years. Tudy was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.
Tudy was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Vernon Schuetzler and her step-mother, Lois Schuetzler.
Tudy is survived by her husband of 38 years, John K. Adams; four step-children; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In accordance with Tudy's wishes she has been cremated. A Memorial Service in Celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church, 1225 Boca Chica Blvd. Tudy's cremated remains will be interred at Rock Island National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Tudy's name may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
