Mrs. Virginia Zepeda Guerrero, 88, our beloved mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, sister and aunt, entered into the glory of her eternal life on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, surrounded by loving family at Brownsville Nursing and Rehab Center in Brownsville, Texas.
A native and lifetime resident of Brownsville, Virginia was a longtime faithful parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church where she was a member of the League of the Sacred Heart. Virginia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Virginia was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by those fortunate to have known her.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Martina Zepeda her exhusband, Antonio P. Guerrero and her sister, Rosenda Gregorio Herrera of Baytown.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories
of her are her children: Dolores Alfredo Bermudez, Antonio Corina Guerrero Jr., Martha Gonzalez, Juan Manuel Gloria Guerrero, Oscar Margie Guerrero, and David Rosaura Guerrero ten grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren, a sister, Margarita Roberto Salazar and several nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, from 3:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Cathedral, 1218 E. Jefferson St. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Virginias grandsons: Oscar Guerrero Jr., Fausto Gonzalez, Carlos Guerrero and David Guerrero Jr., along with her nephews, Albert Toriz and Javier Cruz are honored to be serving at Virginias pallbearers.
