Wallace "Wally" L. Buero, Jr.

Mr. Wallace L. "Wally" Buero, Jr., 78, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. He was born in Charleston, S.C. and had been a resident of Brownsville for over 40 years.

Mr. Buero was preceded in death by his wife, Sophie Orive Buero; his parents, Wallace Buero, Sr. and Virginia Petit Buero; 3 sons, Wallace Anthony Buero, Vincent Patrick Buero and Antonio A. Benavides, Jr.; and a brother, Frank Petit Buero.

Left to eternally treasure their memories of him are his daughters, Theresa Fountain and Nora (Art) Rendon; his grandchildren, Benny and Aaron Rendon, Nora (Tomas) Tijerina, Jennifer (Kris) Beevers and Tanner and Tyler Myrick; 2 great grandchildren; and his sisters, Diane (Allen) Conger, Virginia (Tip) Hall and LaVerne (Steve) Kennedy.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2015 with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

Visitation will resume at 10:00 a.m. Friday and the funeal procession will depart from the funeral home to the church at 1:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2015 at St. Eugene de Mazenod Catholic Church, 5409 Austin Rd., Brownsville, TX with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Honored to be serving as pallbearers for Mr. Buero's service are Benny Rendon, Aaron Rendon, Steve Buero, Darrell Lewis, Gustavo Varela and Tomas Tijerina.

Military honors will be rendered at graveside by members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
