Wanda "Billie" M. Sutter

Wanda M. Sutter, 90, of Brownsville, Texas, entered into eternal rest at Valley Regional Medical Center on Thursday, July 20, 2017.

Billie, as she was affectionately known to all, was a longtime resident of Brownsville. Billie grew up in the Valley, and after WW II, she married Jack N. Sutter, a prominent member of the community. Billie was a loving and devoted wife and friend to many. Billie was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Billie is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Virginia Bennett, a brother, Clarence "Sonny" Knight, a nephew, James A. Bennett Jr., and a niece, Barbara A. Newberry.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 70 years, Jack N. Sutter and numerous extended family members and friends.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
