Willard Miles Hopperstad

Willard Miles Hopperstad, 71, of Brownsville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday December 22, 2007 at Ebony Lake Nursing Home.

William Miles Hopperstad was a very loving family man. Always looking out for and taking care of us. He had a very sharp and witty sense of humor. Loved and took a lot of pride in the work he did for The South Texas Woodmill. Traveling, stamp collecting, and Cubs baseball were a few of his great passions. He would always talk about his adventures with his friends family as he was younger. He joined the military at a very young age. Willard fought with honor and dignity in the Korean Vietnam Wars. There were many adventures in the military which he enjoyed sharing.

He is survived by his wife, Herta Theresa Hopperstad, his children: Dorian Alexander Hopperstad, Xenia Gast. Siblings: Gloria Diers, Rey Hopperstad, Jerome Hopperstad, Barbara Donaho Gail Dudgeon. Grandchildren: Xatascha, Xolant Xateus Gast. He was preceded in death by his parents brothers sisters.

As per his wishes Mr. Hopperstad will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Willard Miles Hopperstad will live on in all of the people who knew loved him. WE LOVE YOU
