William "Bill" Ernest Richardson

William Bill E. Richardson, 71, of Brownsville, our beloved husband, son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend entered into the glory of his eternal life on Friday, August 14, 2009 in India.

A native of Alberta, Canada, Bill, as he was known to all had been a Brownsville resident for the past 10 years. He worked for Transocean for 30 years retiring in 2003. Not able to just stay home, he joined Oilfield Audit Services, Inc. in 2005 and was working for them as an oil rig platform consultant at the time of his death. Due to his line of work Bill was able to travel to many places across the globe.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Richardson; Step-father, Lavier Jensen, and two brothers: Thomas Richardson and Joe Jensen.

Left behind to eternally treasure his memory is his wife, Hilda Richardson; his mother, Clarissa Irvine; two daughters: Suzanne Richardson Mihaly and her husband Jim Mihaly and Robin Richardson Potts and her husband Gordon Potts; two step-daughters: Kim Richardson and her husband Ross and Hilda Robles and her husband Hector Sanchez; three sisters: Erna Stan McMaster, Margaret Steeves, and Frances Bunny Art Hanvold; and his brother, Jim Sally Jensen, and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on WEdnesday, August 19, 2009 and continue through 9 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. Wedensday evening in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. All services will conclude on Wednesday evening, and in accordance with Bills wishes, cremation will follow.
