Yolanda López De Terán

Yolanda López de Terán, 88, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at her residence in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

Yolanda is preceded in death by her husband, Heberto Terán Flores; two daughters, Nilda Terán and Graciela T. Peña; and a sister, Imelda Lopez de Ferreyro.

Yolanda is survived by her loving children: Yolanda Terán Begum, Dr. José Heberto Terán, Laura and Michael Hogan, Armando and Carmen Terán, and Carla Terán; a son-in-law, Hector Peña; ten grandchildren: Nilda Gabriela Soberon, Daniela Terán, José Heberto and Rosie Terán, Alex and Sabrina Begum, Sasha and Shane Norman, Mario Alberto Soberon, Alejandra Peña, Cristina Terán, Hector Eduardo Peña, and Gabriela Peña; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

In accordance with Yolanda's wishes she has been cremated. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 555 W. St. Francis St.
